Winds ripped roof off Winnipeg apartment building - Winnipeg Sun
Ian Currie couldn't believe his eyes Sunday night. Pieces of roofing were ripped from a north Henderson Highway apartment building and flung onto his street hard enough to cause skid marks. The section of flat roof came from a mechanical penthouse, he says.
